At the tender age of four, Bobby started his career as a Gymnast, and climbed through the ranks to compete as a National Squad Member and National Gold Medalist for Great Britain. Bobby competed and also won gold medals in countries such as France, Russia, United States of America, and training camps in the Ukraine.
Bobby retired from Gymnastics at 17 and turned his attention to football, quickly becoming a semi-professional footballer for Fareham Town FC at the age of 19.
With his huge appetite for performing unabated, he started to perform in Live Action Shows, Pantomimes, various TV Shows and worldwide modelling campaigns & commercials for K-swiss trainers, Adidas, Pepsi, Joop aftershave and many more. Some of these jobs found Bobby doubling Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, and David Beckham before he decided to become a professional Stunt Performer.
Bobby then trained in all the disciplines needed to achieve the goal of becoming a Stuntman, which took the best part of 4 years (training full time). This meant qualifying in skills such as Kickboxing, Swimming, 10m High Diving, Gymnastics, Trampolining, and Scuba Diving.
Since then Bobby has performed in 50 full feature movies, working closely with Chris Hemsworth as his stunt double for the past 10 years, but also alongside such luminaries as Josh Brolin, Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, Jeremy Irons, John Hurt, Christoph Waltz, Harrison Ford, Robert Downey Jr, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Samuel L Jackson, Jonny Depp, Leonardo di Caprio, Sir Ben Kingsley, Geoffrey Rush, Tom hanks, Angelina jolie, Judy dench, Charlize Theron and for directing greats like JJ Abrams, Ron Howard, Chris Nolan, Steven Spielberg, Taika watiti and Ridley Scott. His career has seen Bobby winning 8 SAG Awards for "Inception", "Harry Potter the Deathly Hollows", "Skyfall", "Game of Thrones" Seasons 6 & 7 and “Avengers: Endgame” 1 Critics Choice Award for "Wonder Woman" and 1 Critics Choice Award nomination for "Thor: Ragarok", 2 Emmy Awards for contributuion to best stunt ensemble for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 & 7, 4 nominations at 2 wins at the 2021 Taurus World Stunt Awards for Best fight and Hardest hit in “Extraction”, with 2 previous nominations for "Quantum of Solace" and "the Prince of Persia the Sands of Time", over 20 awards as executive producer for short film "Lion" and a 2009 Guinness World Record for the most targets hit with a back somersault throw in one hour. The Ford B-Max ad featuring Bobby Diving through the car, has over 3 million hits on youtube. Bobby was sponsored by Dove Men & Care 2012-2015 and is currently sponsored by New Balance and Neubria. Bobby is an ambassador for Battle Cancer charity, co founder of move forward gyms, a trainer for Centr and the author of Children’s book “The Adventures of Eddie and Flip Boy”
